Open Innoation in Aachen

The RWH-TIM blog reports on the conference on open innovation that was held in Aachen, Germany July 6. About 130 participants representing companies, academia and NGOs from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany came together for the presentations. Featured guest speaker Joel West gave a comprehensive overview of the term “open innovation,” its roots and implications. Other speakers took up cultural differences in business practices and different levels of openness towards new, external cooperation proposals.
